I’ve been inactive for far too long. I actually did manage to do something during that time, though it wasn’t as much as I had hoped. I’ve managed to add 8 new icons and 2 new designs. I actually designed these a while back but unfortunately haven’t had the time until now to post them.  I’m sure that they will atleast be useful to you guys.

Hopefully I won’t take nearly as long with the next update ^^; And I’ll have more to add as well. Also any suggestions for a tutorial? I’m itching to make a new one.

Hello everyone, I know I haven’t been doing much updating lately, I’ve been working on an advanced flash MP3 player for my class and it’s been occupying much of my time. Anyway, I just wanted to welcome our new affliate Rachel Jessica and her site Winterstorm. It’s a very pretty site with some really excellent graphics. Please visit her site^^

I added another new transparent PNG of Ichigo from the anime series Bleach. It is Ichigo and it’s not, I’m not sure they ever gave Ichigo’s reflection (Hollow self) a real name. Anyway, I thought it was a really neat picture.

I’ve also been forced to upgrade the whole control panel to the site because we’re using PHP 5 now and most of my old scripts have been dumbed down. I have to go define a TON of variables in order to make them all work -.-

Okay, I finally found a work-around to get the php-includes to show up correctly. Apparently by disabling linking to off-site php pages, it keeps people from being able to hack your site and replace those php-includes or something *shrugs* I received an email a few weeks ago from my server saying they were upgrading the PHP to PHP 5.0 and didn’t know it was going to give me as much trouble as it did -.- Anyway, it’s all fixed now.

The hit counter finally decided to work properly too. I used to just record one IP address (the one I use at school -.-). I made some adjustments to the database table a few days ago and it seems that they worked because it’s finally recording all of the visits.

//Edit// I just wanted to announce I have also fixed the PNG and layout preview areas of the site. They were also affected by the upgrade to PHP 5.0. It is all in perfect working order now, though.

It seems that when the server upgrade to PHP 5 there is an error with includes that won’t allow ‘absolute’ filepaths, I have done a little bit of research and I’m currently looking for a method to by-pass this error, until then, the site is going to look a little messed up, sorry for the inconvienience.

This is a small (and technical) update. There was a newer version of Wordpress so I upgraded the site to Version 2.5.1. There might not be anything that you can view the difference on the actual site, but it makes upgrading plugins and such REALLY simple. It also got rid of an annoying message every time I logged in to the Admin Panel. Anyway, sorry updates are so few, I’m in my portfolio class right now and advanced flash and it doesn’t leave much time for anything besides school. If anyone wants to check out my portfolio as it is right now, the url is http://kristinalhall.com. All of the work on it is stuff I have done for my classes and such and those pieces are going into my portfolio for graduation (in October 2008).

//Edit// This is just a small addition to the update. I finally managed to get the avatar posting to work with the updates on the main page. I’ve been fighting with that plugin until today when I upgraded WordPress.
